Garion – self-titled (2004)

Posted by HHB Admin on May 20, 2007 – 10:30 pm

Garion (가리온) was one of the fresher crews making hip-hop in South Korea – most of the material on this album is jazzy underground-type shit. (I say “was” because the newer material I’ve heard by them sounded like bad pop music). Yes, the song titles are in Korean…check it, though:

01. 가리온
02. 뿌리갶은 나무
03. 언더그라운드
04. 마르지 않는 펜
05. 엉터리 학생
06. 옛이야기
07. 이렇게
08. 회상
09. 시간의 여행자
10. 자장가
11. 나이테
12. 음의 여백
13. 언더그라운드 Remix
14. 자장가 Remix

Actually, it’s taken me this long to get back to this. Without noticing this in the first place, I’d got the vocal album version from somewhere and saw that it came with the instru album. So I figured, this would be something for us… And whaddaya know… it’s been sitting up here all this time.
It’s really nice, even with the vocals.

I know this is a instrumental blog, but can you drop the vocal version too.
