When it comes to Minneapolis hip-hop the names that usually come to mind are Rhymesayers & Doomtree. However, within the past year multiple groups have broken from the pack to redefine the new Minneapolis sound.
Enter the The Tribe & Big Cats (TTxBC), whose third full-length “Space” breaks out of the Minneapolis mold to form a sound that is uniquely their own. Made up of rapper Truth Be Told and producer Big Cats, TTxBC’s “Space” is a strong contender for one of the best albums to come out of Minneapolis in years.
