For this last day of the year i want to post something different for the good listeners.

Archie Shepp is an African-American saxophonist born in Florida and well known for his passionately Afrocentric music, a great example of the eclectic mixture between african sounds, standard and bop jazz. Archie is one of the latests jazz pioneers alive, today his music sounds classic and up-to-date, just actual as only jazz music can keep being during the years and the eras and his influences are the clear consequence of his many collaborations with some of the greatest musicians of all times like Chet Baker and John Coltrane.

This is “Lybia” and i really hope you all will enjoy this as i’m doing.
