The Foodchain, a hip hop collective based out of Denver, Colorado is a one of a kind team of MCs and producers. This band of “super friends” is vocally represented by four MCs: Mic Coats, C-1, FL, and ChampionSoundKillaBlack, internally dubbed “the offense”. The sound is driven by “the defense” led by by two incredible producers, Mass Prod and MoHeat, and accompanied by DJ Louiscide on keys, the ones and twos, and bass, and percussionist Alex The Great.

The Foodchain’s sound delivers cinematic and soulful wordplay over scores of electrifying funk and hip hop infused to rock & roll courtesy of the group’s in house production team. The Foodchain strives to embody the authentic elements of the hip hop culture from the endangered vinyl scratching DJ and live instrumentation used in production to the MCs ferocious wordplay and conscious lyrics.
