“Abstract Tribe Unique is a West Coast hip-hop collective
featuring leader Abstract Rude and the Tribe Unique dancers,
Zulu and Irie. Providing graphic lyrical and visual images —
their live performances are multimedia collages — of ghetto
life in south central L.A., the Tribe has been recording since
1994.

Backed by Mass Men production guru Flatjack, the Tribe most
recently has settled with the underground Ocean Floor label,
releasing 1997’s Underground Fossils.”

The album that made Abstract Rude what he is today. This is on
some dope experimental hip-hop. This lp was originally released
in 1997 but only on vinyl and was released this week on cd and
re-mastered by DJ Icewater.
