Segundo registro fonográfico de um dos principais trabalhos de rap do Estado conta com as
partipações de Gerson King Combo (RJ), Thalles Roberto, Cubanito, Juliana, Pow MX, Race (SP),
Lil’Daw (USA) entre outros e produção de Paulo Maitá.
SOS periferia três letras, uma palavra, uma sigla, uma evolução de idéias e ideais que parte
do princípio dividir para conquistar e assim prosperar. E foi através desse princípio que se
partiu a reconstrução do novo álbum que conta com as participações de artistas de belo horizonte,
são paulo, rio de janeiro, Cuba e estados unidos.
Quando o SOS Periferia lançou, em 2002, o CD “História Sem Fim”, seus integrantes não poderiam
imaginar que aquele seria um dos mais importantes discos da história do rap produzido em
Minas Gerais. Não demorou muito para que o SOS assim como é chamado se transformasse em um
verdadeiro fenômeno cultural no meio hip-hop.
Após se apresentar em diversos festivais importantes pelo país e registrar, fonograficamente,
uma participação antológica ao lado do mestre Marku Ribas, a banda retorna com o seu segundo
trabalho. Dessa vez, um álbum cheio, denominado “Metamorphose”, título que traduz as evidentes
mudanças estéticas sofridas pela banda ao longo da última década. O novo trabalho apresenta
influências de ragga, reggae, dub, funk, soul, salsa, merengue e, claro, hip-hop, que é a espinha
dorsal do SOS Periferia.
O novo álbum conta com a produção inspirada de Paulo Maitá e das pesquisas sonoras do músico
Berico (Berimbrown), além da participação de um dos maiores ícones do soul brasileiro, o carioca
Gerson King Combo e o iluminado cantor gospel Thalles Roberto.

Conspirituality is a Vancouver based hip hop group consisting of lyricists Gemineye and Zaddik Melchizedek (Sons of Zadok). Gemineye is one of Canada’s and Hip Hop’s most out-spoken political artists, his work deals with a wide array of topics from ancient mysteries and oddities to exposing the agenda’s of secret societies, world political figures, historical cover ups and spiritual teachings. Zaddik Melchizedek is one of Canada’s and Hip Hop’s most captivating spiritual artists, his work focuses on the teachings and philosophies of world tradition’s and cultures both ancient and modern, touching on everything from shamanism, egyptology, gnoticism, hindhuism, buddhism and more. Conspirituality has performed and worked with some of world’s most talented artists, such as, Sweatshop union, Kia Kadiri, Ndidi Cascade, Josh Martinez, Moka Only, Ground Breakers and Kyprios. Their current project Evil Politicians EP was produced by BigBrother and recorded @ Paranoyd Sound Studios and will be released on Inner Earth Music in 2008.
