After 5 years of development Jinxx McCloud’s not for profit indi label En Tia Sing Sounds Presentings the new full length album “En Tia Sing” (en~ti~cing). The album exhibits 21 songs with zero filler tracks! Experimentation, adaptation and open ended original direction and approach to music have been some of the guidelines used by Jinxx for this album. From an early age Jinxx �the chimney� McCloud developed a profound interest in music as a way of self expression and release. Seeing that music has harbored a broad array of influence on societies around the world has Jinxx brings a new recipe for incorporating many genres of music into a single album Jinxx has always placed the true expression of the spirit reflected in ones creativity with music as a much higher priority than commerce. To �The Chimney� being original and open minded about music is far superior to channeling the music creativity thru trends and marketing in order to get popular and rich from, sell units. That is why in 2007 Indi label en tia sing sounds was created in order to release the collection in its entirety, unfiltered and free from industry pressures and controls. This collection has been growing in McCloud�s lab over the past 5 years of development to strengthen its broadly different styles and influences from over a large time period.

As an mc Jinxx McCloud began his journey 10 years ago with a tape recorder and a goal. That goal was to gather equipment piece by piece, develop hundreds of verses in his lyrical library, and to one day release a full length album of professional quality with influences and genre blending that has never been released before. Being original and true to ones self has been the only restriction applied to his musical development.

As a producer Jinxx McCloud developed thru hundreds of productions for the 1999 – 2001 group Elevated Mindstate in which he was the exclusive producer and one of 3 mc�s. Later Jinxx became heavily influenced by drum and bass music which added another dimension to the productions “The Chimney” was to later use for development for this album. Later spending time in england and holland with uk drum and bass producer and mentor Q-Trax Jinxx further developed his productions. Q-Trax has a production which was originally to be featured on an Elevated Mindstate track recorded in 2001 titled �that ish�. This is the most dated track on the album yet the quality is right with many very new tunes.

As a DJ Jinxx has been mixing and scratching for over 10 years now, all scratching done on this release were done by Jinxx. Blending different genres of music as a DJ with the deep foundations Jinxx has with Hip Hop has proven to be interesting.

As a songwriter Jinxx has been working on another project with even more experimentation with acoustic instruments over the past several years. Planned to be complete summer of 2008.

Release Notes:

After his massive 2004 hit “Lean Back” with his crew Terror Squad, Fat Joe
returned with the full-length All or Nothing. The 2005 album stiffed, and haters
egged on by Joe’s rival, 50 Cent, let their venom roll across message boards.
For them, the very gangsta and sorta indie Me, Myself and I is the desperate
result of meager sales and the last gasp of Joe’s career. Listen to it
objectively, and it’s anything but. Fat Joe’s had a problem with the full-length
for quite some time, and his best efforts were blunted by concessions to the
radio and by collaborations that didn’t fit. Recorded on his own and then
released in cooperation with EMI, the incredibly focused Me, Myself and I breaks
the chain by going back to the scrappy street days of his early hit, “Flow Joe,”
while reaping the benefits of his relationship with his Terror Squad brother DJ
Khaled. While Fat Joe takes the executive producer credit, he follows Khaled’s
model of blending of New York’s dirty street noise with Miami’s trunk-rumbling
thunder while putting one of the DJ’s favorites, Lil Wayne, on the very short
guest list. Joe and Wayne’s excellent leadoff single, “Make It Rain” — produced
by extended family member Scott Storch — is the perfect calling card for the
album, since kicking beats with steal-toed boots and lean hooks is all you’re
going to get here. Storch works his minimal magic once again on “Think About
It,” leaving Joe plenty of room to work his simple and entirely effective
chorus. Same goes for “Breathe and Stop,” with producer Nu Jerzey Devil looping
a short bit of Bob Marley’s “War” under Joe and the Game’s seriously infectious
swagger. The Game and Lil Wayne are huge names in 2006, but that’s it for
guests, and it soon becomes obvious that just like the skeletal musical
landscapes, this choice was made to make sure the man whose name is on the cover
owns the album. With the spotlight so decidedly on himself, Joe comes off as a
commanding veteran with a rare taste of freedom. Free of pop collaborations that
push him to the side, Joe, who often is given the job of providing the vocal
hook, indulges himself with the lyrics and freely goes from internal to external
with a freestyler’s heart. Right from the start, he name-checks his heroes Big
Pun and Biggie on the opening “Pandemic,” then powerfully boasts and brags
before making an ungraceful transition to political commentary. Nothing on this
album is graceful, and even at a tight 12 tracks, the relentless quest to get
back to his hood roots will wear on the casual fan. On the other hand, hearing
this high-profile thug so boldly reclaiming his street cred without any
concessions is exciting and makes it easy to shrug off this driven full-length’s
one-track mind.

Props to the other group for putting the regular edition out, now here’s a
Japanese only exclusive remix of Make It Rain. This is tagged 2007 since the
bottom left-hand corner of the obi-strip is dated 2007-01-15.
