Building on the momentum from their critically acclaimed debut, Friday Night returns with an epic sequel that is a culmination of raw musical ambition and overblown Hollywood absurdity. Saturday Night picks up the story of tragic figures Dave and Umar several years after the violent wreck that would change the course of their lives and ultimately make them marked men.

Featured guests include Son Doobie, Playa Hamm, Micah Saint James, TeLuv, 87 Stick Up Kids, Black Spade and more.

Release.Info :
Kris “KRS-One” Parker was the driving force behind the group Boogie Down
Productions, purveyors of a politically conscious rap style dubbed Edutainment.
KRS-One, which stands for Knowledge Reigns Supreme, began his solo career with
1993’s RETURN OF THE BOOM BAP, and devoted himself to defining, promoting, and
preserving the true spirit of hip-hop. (The Blastmaster even went so far as to
start the Zulu Nation-esque Temple of Hip-Hop Kulture in the late 1990s.)
Though controversial, and occasionally inconsistent in his politics, KRS-One
remains one of the most respected and sought-after MCs ever.

On this heart-moving show we have:

Slaughterhouse‘s dagger-tongue, Crooked I, is with us for a feature-length interview regarding his ambitions for C.O.B., his next album Million Dollar Dream, his signing to Shady Records, working with Eminem, Slaughterhouse’s second album and some of his craziest moments at Death Row Records. If that wasn’t enough, Crooked I even finds time to inform us of Slaughterhouse’s reaction and subsequent plans for The Four Horsemen (Priest/Canibus/Kurupt/Ras Kass)this year and it sounds brutal. Hip hop cannot miss this one.

Four Horsemen member and Wu Tang messenger, Killah Priest, steps in to discuss the creation of PWOWR ‘The Psychic World of Walter Reed’ in detail, citing the many people who are involved with production and guest appearances. The list includes Nas, the RZA, the GZA and many more. We also discuss the controversial album cover, which makes reference to Dr Melachi Z York and hear about his recent meeting with The Four Horsemen, including his contributions to their conversation and their plans for the album.

Cormega steps in unannounced to share his thoughts and reaction upon hearing the full details of the criminally under-publicized natural disaster in Pakistan. Offering his full support and audibly shocked at the true extent of the carnage in that country, Cormega recalls his recent time in Haiti and emphasizes the need for people to donate to the adults and children out there – http://www.dec.org.uk

Dame Grease leaves a busy studio session to discuss his forthcoming projects with The Lox, DMX and his new Max B project, pairing Max with unreleased verses from Notorious B.I.G. and 2 Pac. Dame gives a first hand account of DMX’s current state after being recently released from incarceration, citing that X is filled with renewed self-control and drive to make new music. He discusses his new studio work claiming that the tracks currently being recorded are ‘ridiculous, classic DMX‘.

2 Hungry Bros step away from the production table to fill the listeners stomachs with a feast of food for thought regarding their production work, the many artists they have worked with and their musical inspirations. We dissect more serious social issues and explore such topics as false economy. brain washing and the government’s cunning methods of social control. You will leave this one with a lot to digest.

AND THAT’S NOT ALL!

Willo Wispa is a character. The Friday Night Live Show is synonymous with capturing the essence of artists within its interviews. So listen intently as the true essence of Associated Minds stable member, Willo Wispa is captured to finite perfection, a lucid flow of conscious thoughts, dreamily cascading upon your senses. Lollipop ladies LOVE him, now you will too.

This Is Not Hip Hop,Its A Guitar Instrumental Jazz CD

Crescent Shores represents a new direction for acclaimed guitarist Les Sabler as he performs on nylon string acoustic guitar. The song selection includes three new arrangements of tracks from Sabler’s “Time For Love” album, as well as, covers of Stevie Wonder’s “Overjoyed,” Sting’s “Fragile” and Mark-Almond’s “Lonely Girl.” The project originally began in 1991, however, the tapes were set aside for many years. Sabler returned to the sessions recently, creating a brand new album from a moment in his past. With elements of Latin, Jazz and Pop, this is yet another great work in his discography.

Despite what his name might portray, Los Angeles MC Hoodini won’t be be hidden for much longer and doesn’t plan on disappearing into thin air. Alongside his new producer and partner in crime, KinG!, Jagmeet ‘Hoodini’ Singh strives to become another face of the new generation of LA hip hop. As a student of hip hop culture and golden era ethos, Hoodini beholds a classic presence and skill that ignites like the hills of Malibu after a war with the Santa Ana winds when struck with KinG!’s regal production.

Chicago rapper Xception and Amsterdam producer G-DO will release their official debut album ‘Mood Of The Music’ on 26 July 2010. After becoming friends almost two years ago in Amsterdam, G-DO and Xception have been working on new music continuously. ‘Mood Of The Music’ will mark the first official release from both artists. The album showcases a mature, soulful, jazz-influenced style of Hip-
Hop. Some might say the sound reminds them somewhat of Slum Village or Reflection Eternal, but it’s best to decide for yourself!
