On this cascading summer spring we have:
Jedi Mind Tricks producer and the creator of some of the most florid soundscapes in hip hop history, Stoupe, breaks his silence for a unique ‘tell all’ interview. We discuss his diverse range of projects, including his more recent compositions as one half of the group Dutch. As edgy and unfocused as the instrumentals he makes,Stoupe informs us of his desire to work with Canibus again, his massive love of world cup action and very little else, leaving with the prestigious Conspiracy Sandwich Award for Most Awkward Interviewee since Paul Barman. Triumph!
Reef The Lost Cauze is a man of the people and a man whose work ethic is surpassed by none. Join us on this show as we dig deep into the pain, pleasure and passion of hip hop’s most respected grafter. We talk collaborations, tour stories, fight stories and much more in the perfect 30 minutes with a master of the craft – listen out for information on all of his future projects, including his work with Diabolic and Ill Bill.
Big K.R.I.T. is with us to discuss his new deal with Def Jam, his relationship with the “dirty south” sound/artists plus a lot more in a heartfelt testimony to hard work and graft. Do not overlook this guys relevance to the pure hip hop genre and be sure to seek out more from him.
MF Grimm is with us on the show for an extremely detailed and intimate exploration of his career, his hunger and most of all the sheer creativity that encompasses his music and artwork. We talk cartoons, art, music and much more in an essential listen for any discerning hip hop fan.
Son Of Bazerk join us in full to inject optimism and self-belief with regards to their new 2010 album, released on Chuck D’s label SlamJamz and their plans to change the stale, unoriginal state of modern rap music. We take a journey back into time and uncover the mysteries of their seclusion from releasing music since 1991, including the contract with Hank Shocklee’s label which prevented them from releasing any music for over 7 years. As refreshing as their music itself.
John Robinson and Lewis Parker are set to release an album of classic proportions, so it was our pleasure to welcome the duo onto the show and fully explore the many facets of their creativity, from Lewis Parker’s intricate and dedicated beat creations to John Robinson’s worldly poetics, this interview marks the onset of a true International Summer. A must listen.
AND THAT’S NOT ALL!
Divine Allah steps into the show to explain the the very destiny that has brought him to life within hip hop and the hand of fate which has blessed him with the potential to succeed. We highly recommend you seek more knowledge about this guy – http://www.myspace.com/divineallah
