So, I was listening to some of the beats here and I was wondering why Ant (dude on the left) never comes up when mentioning dope producers. Usually when I hear stuff about Atmosphere, it’s mostly hate on McNulty. So I upped some instrumentals to show why I enjoy dude’s music.

Product Description
Often compared to the sounds of Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, and Common, Kero One
is a full time deejay, producer, rapper/songwriter, and record label owner based in
San Francisco. Kero got his start by releasing a 12″ called “Check the Blueprints” in
2003 on his own imprint “Plug Label” which was discovered by a Japanese label and
sold over 10,000 copies in the first year. Eventually, his music would lead him to
top underground Hip Hop sales charts, tours throughout Europe, Asia, and the US, as
well as music collaborations with the likes of Aloe Blacc (Stonesthrow), Grand Puba
(Brand Nubian), Abstract Rude, Lanu and Ohmega Watts (Ubiquity Records/Tru-thoughts).
By demand, Kero brings us the “Windmills of the Soul Instrumentals” album with all
vocals stripped and added bonus tracks “Space Cadets” & “Just Groovin.” The album
features heavy usage of live instrumentation that Kero One plays himself such as bass
guitar, Fender Rhodes keyboards, & moog synthesizers, as well as saxophones and
guitar from jazz/funk session players. However, not only are there jazz/funk
references on “Windmills”, there are also references to Brazilian styles such as on
“Windmills Beats” and soul references on tracks such as “In A Dream” which portrait
some of the different styles of music that influence Kero.

Noon – solo artist born in 1979 (Warsaw/Poland). His works are instrumental EP’s: “Bleak Output” (2000),”Studio games” (2003) and CD Singel “Vision” (2002) recorded with DJ Twister and Oreu (Electric Rudeboyz). Starting out as a live act, MC Dabbla and DJ Pierre
Green have since recruited MCs Pringle and Mention and
producer Sumgii to the crew. After success on pirate
radio and at local events, the group stepped up a gear
with their new members in place, supporting the likes
of Rahzel and Jeru the Damaja

This was all before a video popped up on You Tube
This was their first single, the now legendary Lips 2
Da Floor featuring Dubbledge and it proved to be the
real launch point for LDZ. After hearing that tune you
might (as I did), expect the mixtape to be based
solely on catchy anthems but it throws up a surprise
Though the verbal poundings are plentiful, with
everyone from Timbaland to Ashley Cole on the
receiving end, the tight delivery of the lyrics
combined with the variation of beats from Pierre Green
and Sumgii show that LDZ are not one dimensional, from
funkier numbers such as So Many Girls, to the dark and
socially conscious Cheddar

The explicit humour of the bouncy Get Your Tits Out
featuring Orifice Vulgatron, and their personal take
on Justin Timberlake s My Love (where they ask if I
sang you a melody, would you come out and give head to
me? ) are sure to follow in in the footsteps of the
grime parody, and tunes that will definitely get stuck
in your head for a while but don t expect the rest of
the album to follow suit. Released on 24th September
this is definitely one to check
