RELEASE NOTES:
The group’s EP, Prequel, showcases its lyrics – which are mostly
of the introductory, “Here we are, check it out” – type, clean
beats and fitting production quality. Social Memory is Staj
Prezence (lyrics), Modest (production) and DJ Trizzac (cuts), and
often can be found playing around town with Chapel Hill locals
Common Ground and L in Japanese. The opener, “What is Social
Memory Complex?” backs up the idea given by the group’s name: this
music will have some thought behind it.The EP’s best beat comes
with “Suze” which breaks the straightforward feel of previous
tracks with a vocal sample (which is well-integrated), and a
darker feeling (which is neccessary for the lyrics).

RELEASE NOTES:
A multi-talented MC/Producer/Filmmaker/Writer, Incks rises above
the common to strive for the exceptional. Hailing from Flatbush,
the heart of Brooklyn, Incks has been working towards the release
of Extra Estra after touring in Amsterdam & Belgium. In 2004, she
became the first woman to win the beat battle with
BanginBeats.com. She has performed on both sides of the Atlantic
including the Wetlands (NYC), Grants Tomb, Nuyorican Poets Caf
(NYC), Baggot Inn (NYC), The Five Spot (Brooklyn and
Philadelphia), Theater Romein (Leeuwarden,NL) Bitterzoet and

she founded Earmax Records in 1999 with producing-partner DJ Obah.
She is a featured performer on Shus Shusic (2005), The Proovs
Battle Mode (2005), Krewcials 25/8 (BBE, 2003), and B-Gyrl.coms

RELEASE NOTES:
South Hill Productions has always wanted to make there own style
of music. Attending underground hip hop shows in the PA area
provided the motivation to craft there own brand of hip hop
instrumentals.

2006 marks the beginning of the creative process for South Hill
Productions imprint. With help from fellow artist SL aka Super
Lyrical from Repeat Offenders, South Hill Productions has begun to
develop a style all there own – a mix of soul tinged with an
emotionality that the listener can truly feel.

Soul Sessions Vol. 1 is NOT you typical hip hop CD. Featuring
production influenced by many styles of music (hip hop, jazz,
blues, spanish, and more), South Hill Productions employs the
assistance of underground artists and DJs from Pennsylvania and
beyond to create thought provoking, innovative concept tracks. Not
limited to just hip hop, you can find r&b soul music, as well as
instrumentals that are good enough to stand completely on their
own…not to mention concepts that have become a lost art in
today’s music climate – tracks exclusively for the DJ. South
Hill’s Soul Sessions Vol. 1 is one of the great things to happen
to underground music in a long time, and is well worth the listen.

Cd that came with the Big Hop Empty Boxes DVd

24 smoking new tracks from Yours Truly & cohorts. And yes,
unlike “My Own League,” but like, “Man of the Minute,”
“Empty Boxes” has a bunch of features on it. And on the same
level, “EB” has an array of beats on it. Some are original,
and of course, some are jacked, since that is what I do
best.

This record is still in such high demand that one piece of vinyl actually sold on ebay for $142.00!

Release Notes:

M-Phazes is the perfect example of a diamond in the rough.
Born and raised in the Gold Coast of Australia and
relatively isolated from Hip-Hop culture, M-Phazes has
carved a place for himself among Australia’s Hip-Hop elite
and is undeniably responsible for putting Gold Coast Hip-Hop
on the map.

His style is best described as a combination of Neo-Soul &
Boom Bap with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from
producers like J Dilla, DJ Premier & Kanye West, M-Phazes
has forged an original sound that is uniquely his own. As
soon as the beat drops, you know it another M-Phazes
classic.

With 9 years of production work under his belt and over 50
releases all over the world, M-Phazes has moved from
strength to strength. Landing his first serious release on
Supastition’s “Chain Letters” years ago and most recently
remixing the entire Bliss N Eso “Day Of The Dog” album
collection of his productions
